305 4th St. SE, Little Falls, MN
Welcome to St. Mary's
Our parish was organized under the patronage of Mary in 1943 which dates back to the merger of St. Francis Xavier and Sacred Heart parishes. The ethnic roots of the parish are primarily French Canadian and German. The name St. Mary's may have been chosen because Mary's message speaks to many cultures and she is designated patron of American Catholics.
Our mission today, as in the past, continues to be to Foster Faith in Christ Jesus. Review our website and visit our church. Our church is handicap accessible and air conditioned. Discover our worship, faith formation, ministry and service to others.
Remembering Fr. Nick Landsberger
It is with great sadness to announce that Fr. Nick passed away Tuesday (5/26/20) evening around 6:30 PM. Fr. Mark Stang and the staff were able to pray the Last Rites, the Rosary and the Divine Mercy Chaplet with him. His breathing was stable until a transport to a different room around 6:30 PM. Fr. Mark confirmed his death with Fr. Ben. Plans are in the making for the parish to grieve the loss of Fr. Nick. May God bless Fr. Nick's family and the Little Falls area, particularly St. Mary's and Holy Family parishes of which Fr. Nick served.
"May the angels lead you into paradise; may the martyrs come to welcome you and take you to the holy city, the new and eternal Jerusalem."
Little Falls Catholic Community will host a special Prayer service (15 -20 minutes) for Fr. Nick and those left to cherish his memory:
